Payroll Coordinator (Maternity Cover) - VR/31709
Take ownership of end-to-end payroll in a multi-contract environment, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely payments. You’ll produce detailed reports, manage statutory entitlements, and support colleagues in developing payroll expertise. A role that combines technical precision with the opportunity to influence payroll processes.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Managing end-to-end payroll processing across multiple contracts within set deadlines.
- Processing pay accurately in line with different pay structures and agreements.
- Administrating new starters, leavers, and associated payments, including back pay where applicable.
- Calculating statutory leave, occupational entitlements, and associated payments.
- Generating, reviewing, and analysing payroll reports for various departments.
- Ensuring compliance with payroll and pension legislation, including year-end processes and mandatory reporting.
- Maintaining accurate payroll records and filing systems.
- Auditing payroll outputs and providing constructive feedback to colleagues.
- Supporting and guiding junior payroll staff to ensure accurate processing.
About You
- Previous payroll experience in a multi-site or multi-contract environment.
- Solid understanding of payroll and pension legislation and reporting requirements.
- Competent in Microsoft Office, with intermediate Excel skills.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
