Payroll Specialist - VR/32130
An opportunity has arisen for a payroll professional to join an established Accountancy Firm and manage a varied portfolio of payrolls, from sole traders to larger businesses, ensuring accurate and timely processing. The role offers a supportive, close-knit team environment, with opportunities to learn, develop, and progress within the payroll function. Flexible working arrangements, including part-time flexible working hours are available to suit your needs.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Managing a varied portfolio of payrolls, ranging from sole traders to larger businesses.
- Processing payroll accurately and on time for multiple clients.
- Maintaining payroll records and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
- Preparing payroll reports and providing information to management or clients as required.
- Handling queries from clients regarding payroll matters in a professional manner.
- Assisting with ad hoc payroll related projects and system improvements.
- Supporting the planning and scheduling of payroll tasks to minimise tight deadlines.
- Working collaboratively within a close-knit team to ensure smooth operations.
About You
- Previous practice experience is desirable but not essential.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing information.
- Ability to manage multiple payrolls and clients simultaneously.
- Positive, proactive approach with a willingness to learn.
