Project Buyer - VR/32451
A Project Buyer is required on a temporary contract basis until the end of the year for a leading global company within the oil and gas industry. You must have experience of claims and warranty issue and be able to demonstrate experience of this.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maximising opportunities for cost effective purchasing, ensuring the best price, delivery, quality and level of service.
- Managing full purchasing process and provide support across the project.
- Developing tender packages and being involved in tender processes.
- Following up on logistics activities.
- Communicating any Claims and Warranty issues to relevant stakeholders.
Applicants require:
- Experience in a similar role within the offshore or marine industry.
- Knowledge of contracts and procurement.
- Experience in ERP.
- Strong communication, coordination and time management skills.
