Main duties and responsibilities

• Managing strong working relationships within the project teams and with internal and external parties.
• Tracking commitments, VOWD, accruals, and forecast costs, ensure accurate coding of requisitions and invoices.
• Preparing daily, weekly and monthly estimated cost reports for projects and input into wider business reporting cycles.
• Completing actuals and estimate to completion costs to date, including variances against budget.
• Collaborating with the Project Planner to align cost and schedule baselines.
• Validating progress measurements and ensure accurate link to cost performance.
• Supporting the development of earned value metrics (CPI, SPI) and analyse variances against plan.
• Monitoring cost trends and provide early warnings for project management.

Applicants to this role require

• 5+ years’ experience in a similar role within the Oil & Gas industry either with a rig contractor or operator.
• Experience in supporting and developing ERP and operational systems.
• Advanced Excel Skills.

• Organised, diligent, and dynamic, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams to ensure successful delivery of our objectives.
• Excellent communications skills with colleagues as well as external stakeholders (ability to engage at all levels).
• Team player and relationship builder.
• Ability to handle high levels of pressure and critical decision-making.
