This organisation, a provider of tailored services and equipment to the global energy sector, is on a very positive growth trajectory and, as Proposals Lead, you’ll play a central role in that growth.


The Proposals Lead will be responsible for crafting and submitting tailored proposals that align with client needs and the company’s strategic goals. You’ll be required to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and interact with the client to ensure the proposals you produce are compelling and customised.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Developing and submitting well-crafted and comprehensive proposals which clearly communicate the organisation’s capabilities and meet the client’s brief, as well as differentiating from competitors.
  • Liaising internally with subject matter experts and stakeholders to enhance the quality of the proposals by integrating technical, commercial, and strategic insights.
  • Proactively contributing to project planning with feasible execution methods, timelines, and resource allocations, ensuring practicality and effectiveness of proposals.
  • Delivering proposals of the highest standard, with meticulous attention to detail and a focus on customising offerings to meet specific client needs.
  • Building accurate and competitive cost models, aligning pricing with project scope and requirements, demonstrating strong financial acumen.
  • Effectively managing proposal activities within the CRM system, ensuring an efficient and organised handling of the proposal process.
  • Conducting market research and analysis to stay updated on industry trends, ensuring proposals are competitive and relevant.
  • Identifying and implementing improvements in the proposal process, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Assessing and mitigating risks during the proposal development process, ensuring robust and reliable proposals.
  • Incorporating client feedback into future proposals, continuously improving the quality and relevance of submissions.


Our client is seeking a candidate with the following experience, attributes, and qualifications

  • Significant experience in crafting detailed and persuasive proposals.
  • A background in managing projects, particularly in planning and execution phases.
  • Experience in liaising with clients and understanding their needs.
  • Proficiency in building cost models and understanding pricing strategies.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with various teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
