QHSE Coordinator/Auditor - VR/31978

A well established drilling contractor is seeking a QHSE Coordinator/Auditor to join its team in Blackburn, Aberdeenshire. This is a 1-year fixed term contract position with a 9 day fortnight, flexible start and finish times and hybrid working following probationary period. The ideal candidate will have the Lead Auditor qualification whilst also being comfortable with administrative tasks.

     

The QHSE Coordinator/Auditor will support QHSE activities across the UK and manage documentation within the company’s Management System. A key part of the role involves leading internal and external audits, ensuring documentation is controlled, accurate and compliant.

      

Key Responsibilities:

  • Issuing and distributing internal and external documentation.
  • Scanning, filing, archiving and retrieving QHSE documentation.
  • Providing operations documentation to customers as required.
  • Compiling QHSE reports.
  • Leading internal and external audits.
  • Supporting QHSE incident investigations and producing reports.
  • Communicating with suppliers and offshore personnel on QHSE matters.
  • Working in line with the organisation’s Code of Conduct.
  • Carrying out any other reasonable duties as directed by the Quality Manager.

      

What We’re Looking For:

  • Lead Auditor qualification (ISO 9001:2015).
  • Strong confidence and experience in carrying out audits.
  • Good administrative capability and comfort with document control, as the role includes a significant level of administration.
  • Good standard of English and proficiency across Microsoft Office.
  • Minimum HNC or relevant industry qualification.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • 5+ years’ oil & gas sector experience.
  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise workload.
