Sales and Logistics Coordinator - VR/32587

A Sales and Logistics Coordinator is required on a permanent basis to join a reputable family-owned company in the Aberdeen area. In this role, you will be responsible for administration of sales as well as logistics for the company.

    

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage customer orders from receipt through to delivery, liaising with customers to confirm requirements, resolve enquiries and ensure excellent service.
  • Process sales orders and maintain accurate customer, product and transactional data within the ERP system.
  • Prepare, verify and distribute sales, delivery, export and customs documentation, ensuring full compliance with current regulations and required timescales.
  • Produce export-related paperwork including catch certificates, supplier declarations, support attestations and Trader Support Service documentation.
  • Coordinate transport bookings, calculate pallet requirements and work closely with logistics providers to ensure timely collections and deliveries.
  • Communicate production requirements, order updates and schedule changes across departments to support efficient operations.
  • Create and maintain product data, PLUs, labels and technical information, ensuring accuracy across internal systems and customer documentation.
  • Investigate and resolve product, labelling, delivery and administrative queries from customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Support the Finance team with invoice, account and sales-related enquiries.
  • Prepare reports, analysis and operational information for management, maintaining accurate records and filing systems.
  • Draft professional correspondence, emails and documentation, and participate in departmental meetings and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure all administrative, operational and compliance activities are completed accurately, efficiently and in line with company procedures.

              

About you:

  • Experience in a logistics or sales role within a fast-paced business environment.
  • Experience of using ERP systems.
  • Supply chain knowledge/understanding.
