Overview job description

• Controlling access to and from restricted areas.
• Performing security searches of passengers and baggage using both manual techniques and X-ray equipment.
• Conducting regular site and terminal patrols.
• Monitoring CCTV systems and responding appropriately to incidents.
• Assisting passengers with security-related enquiries.
• Supporting emergency response procedures when required.
• Identifying and reporting safety hazards or security risks.
• Providing general operational support across the site as required.

Applicants to this role require

• Has previous security, access control or site security experience.
• Is comfortable working night shifts and spending periods both patrolling and monitoring CCTV systems.
• Has excellent attention to detail and remains vigilant in a fast-paced environment.
• Possesses strong communication and customer service skills.
• Can work independently and as part of a team.

GSO Access Control Modules 1 & 2 are desirable but not essential, as training can be provided for suitable candidates.

Shift Pattern

• 48 hours per week
• 192 hours over a 4-week roster cycle
• 6 days on, 3 days off
• Typical shift times:
• 17:30 to 02:30
• 20:30 to 05:30
