Senior Accountant - VR/31888
An established international services business is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join its Finance Team. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, this role will provide hands-on support across management reporting, project accounting and audit activity, offering a varied and fast-paced workload.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing monthly Project P&Ls for Management Accounts.
- Producing monthly MI reporting packs.
- Managing the preparation and audit of local statutory accounts, ensuring filing deadlines are met.
- Weekly financial updates and reporting.
- Balance sheet reconciliations.
- Supporting the Group Audit process.
- Monthly analysis of Fleet Repairs and Maintenance spend.
- Preparing monthly intercompany recharges.
- Ad hoc finance tasks as required.
About You:
- Qualified, part-qualified or QBE depth of experience is more important than formal qualification.
- Strong background in industry or hands-on accounting environments.
- Confident handling audits, queries and reconciliations.
- Highly competent in Excel and comfortable working with manual systems.
- Proactive, switched-on and able to spot issues before they arise.
- Enjoys a busy, hands-on role within a collaborative Finance Team.
This is an office-based position, five days per week, with an initial short-term requirement and potential to extend.
