Key Responsibilities:

• Developing contracting approaches to support project delivery requirements.
• Preparing ITT packages and managing tender processes from issue through to evaluation.
• Carrying out commercial and contractual assessment of tenders, including risk considerations.
• Leading negotiations and contribute to contract award decisions.
• Managing contracts through the full lifecycle, from award to close-out.
• Overseeing contractor performance, including KPI tracking and reviewing discussions.
• Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Identifying opportunities to improve cost efficiency and service delivery.
• Preparing and managing contract documentation, including amendments and variations.
• Providing commercial guidance to stakeholders across the business.
• Supporting resolution of contractual issues where required.
• Working with engineering teams to support cost tracking, commitments and variations.
• Coordinating with materials teams to ensure services and supplies are in place.

About You:

• Proven experience in a contracts-focused role within oil and gas.
• Experience managing tender processes, including preparation and evaluation activities.
• Strong understanding of contract negotiation and contract lifecycle management.
• Experience overseeing contractor or supplier performance.
• Commercial awareness, with the ability to manage cost and risk.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage across teams and with suppliers.
• Able to work effectively with both internal teams and external suppliers.
• Understanding of well operations or decommissioning activity would be advantageous.
