A newly created role, this is a broad and commercially focused role, advising on a wide range of contractual, commercial, operational and compliance matters and providing pragmatic legal support to business leaders.

The Role:

• Advise senior stakeholders across a broad range of commercial, contractual, operational and compliance matters.
• Lead and support the negotiation, drafting and review of commercial contracts.
• Drive greater contractual discipline and best practice across the business.
• Provide commercially minded legal advice that supports business objectives and effective decision-making.
• Build strong relationships with business leaders and influence outcomes across the organisation.

About You:

• Qualified Solicitor with 6+ years’ PQE.
• Strong experience in commercial contracts, ideally gained in-house.
• Industry experience is preferred, although strong private practice candidates will be considered.
• Experience within the energy sector would be advantageous.
• Knowledge or experience of LOGIC contracts would be particularly beneficial.
• Strong communicator with excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Commercially pragmatic, proactive and confident operating with senior business leaders.
• Able to balance legal risk with commercial priorities in a fast-moving environment.
