Senior Planner (EPC/ Brownfield Modifications) - VR/32840

Our client is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Planner to support the successful delivery of complex energy sector projects. This is an excellent opportunity for an established planning professional with strong EPC and brownfield modifications experience to join a high-performing project team and play a key role in driving project performance.

     

Working closely with Project Managers, Project Controls and client stakeholders, you'll be responsible for developing, maintaining and analysing project schedules, providing meaningful performance insights and supporting informed decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.

       

Overview job description

  • Developing and maintaining project schedules, baselines and work breakdown structures (WBS).
  • Monitoring project progress, forecast performance and produce planning reports, S-curves, histograms and schedule analysis.
  • Identifying schedule risks, supporting change management activities and providing planning expertise to project teams.
  • Analysing critical paths, resource requirements, schedule attainment and project performance metrics.
  • Building strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and client project controls teams.
  • Supporting planning best practice and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the business.

        

Applicants to this role require

  • Proven Senior Planning experience within EPC, engineering or brownfield modification projects.
  • Advanced Primavera P6 capability and confidence managing complex project schedules.
  • Strong understanding of project controls principles, scheduling methodology and project lifecycle delivery.
  • Experience producing planning analysis, forecasts and performance reporting for project stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders across multidisciplinary teams.
