Permanent Senior Project Coordinator opportunity based in Aberdeen, supporting the successful delivery of engineering and manufacturing projects from contract award through to completion. Working across multiple departments, you'll play a key role in coordinating project activities, monitoring performance, maintaining project controls, and ensuring stakeholders remain informed throughout the project lifecycle.

   

Main duties and responsibilities

  • Coordinate project activities from initial contract award through to final delivery.
  • Maintain project tracking tools, schedules, and cost-monitoring documentation.
  • Monitor project expenditure, commitments, and financial performance against forecasts.
  • Support forecasting activities, providing updates on project costs and revenues.
  • Produce accurate progress reports, project updates, and financial information for stakeholders.
  • Review project data to identify potential risks, trends, and areas for improvement.
  • Ensure key stakeholders receive timely and accurate updates on project status.
  • Liaise with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to support effective project execution.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance project delivery and performance.
  • Promote a collaborative and efficient working environment across project teams.

             

Applicants to this role require

  • Previous experience in a Project Coordinator, Project Support, Project Controls, or similar project-focused position.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to manage, interpret, and analyse project information.
  • Experience supporting project cost tracking and forecasting activities.
  • Ability to prepare and present project progress and financial reports.
  • Strong organisational skills with the capability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Commercial awareness and an understanding of project financial performance.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build positive stakeholder relationships.
  • A collaborative approach and experience working across multi-disciplinary teams.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate information.
  • Experience within engineering, manufacturing, energy, or another technical environment would be advantageous.
  • Proactive and motivated with a continuous improvement mindset.
