Supply Chain Analyst - VR/32060

A 3-year fixed-term contract for a Supply Chain Analyst supporting the UK operations of an international E&P business, focused on managing sourcing activity, leading commercial negotiations and administering contracts and purchase orders to ensure the compliant and timely delivery of goods and services across offshore assets and associated projects.

     

Key Responsibilities:

  • Initiating, negotiating and administering commercial and contractual aspects of contracts, purchase orders, rental and repair agreements and service orders.
  • Coordinating and expediting procurement activities to ensure timely delivery of materials, equipment and services.
  • Managing sourcing activities in line with company governance and supply chain procedures.
  • Supporting contractor management activities and ensuring compliance with company standards.
  • Reviewing and recommending improvements to contracting and purchasing procedures to enhance efficiency and alignment with business needs.
  • Monitoring compliance with supply chain processes and procedures to mitigate financial, legal and reputational risk.
  • Acting as an interface between operational teams and subject matter experts for dangerous goods, lifting equipment and PPE requirements.
  • Ensuring alignment with internal policies and external regulatory requirements through collaboration with Finance, Legal and Operations.
  • Supporting management of contractors and contingent workforce, including IR35 compliance and documentation accuracy.

          

About You:

  • Experience within procurement, contracts or supply chain, ideally within an oil and gas E&P environment.
  • Understanding of procurement processes, contract administration and supplier management.
  • Strong IT capability, particularly Excel; ERP experience such as SAP advantageous.
  • Organised and proactive, able to manage competing priorities.
  • Detail-focused with a strong appreciation for governance and compliance.
  • Confident communicator, able to engage effectively with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
  • Degree in Supply Chain, Business or related discipline preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Working towards CIPS qualification desirable.
