Temporary Finance Consultant - VR/31430
We are seeking an experienced Finance Consultant to support a six-month assignment focused on resolving debit balances within the Accounts Payable Ledger. The role will play a critical part in strengthening cashflow management and ensuring financial records are accurate, up to date, and fully reconciled. This role will be based in Dyce and offers hybrid working.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading the resolution of debit balances across the Accounts Payable Ledger.
- Ensuring cashflow reporting is accurate by bringing ledgers fully up to date.
- Partnering with internal stakeholders across multiple departments to identify, investigate, and resolve outstanding issues.
- Applying auditing and financial control practices to support ledger accuracy and compliance.
- Managing and delivering a defined "clean-up" project to agreed timelines and standards.
- Providing clear reporting and progressing updates to senior management.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Demonstrated success in financial remediation or ledger "clean-up" projects.
- Strong project management, planning, and organisational skills.
- Solid understanding of Accounts Payable processes and cashflow management.
- Experience of working with audit and financial controls frameworks.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to resolve complex issues collaboratively.
