Timewriting Coordinator - VR/32535
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Timewriting Coordinator to join a well-established organisation in Aberdeen on a short-term contract basis to cover holidays. This role is central to the accurate processing of workforce time and attendance data, working closely with Payroll, Accounts, Project Managers, and external agencies to ensure timesheets, expenses, and employee records are managed efficiently and to strict deadlines. Ideal for someone detail-oriented with strong Excel skills and experience in a fast-paced environment, this position offers the chance to play a key role in supporting business operations within a collaborative team.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records of all personnel engaged on assignments.
- Process timesheets for operational staff and provide summaries to relevant third-party contacts where required.
- Review system-generated time data to ensure accuracy, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
- Process manual timesheets, ensuring correct allocation of pay and expense codes.
- Maintain and update holiday records for weekly paid workers and internal staff.
- Input and manage expense claims, including those related to travel and other associated costs.
- Act as the main point of contact for all time-related queries.
- Work closely with internal teams, including finance and operational colleagues, to resolve any issues or queries.
- Ensure all data is entered accurately and within strict deadlines.
About You
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Strong working knowledge of databases and advanced Excel skills.
- Proven ability to manage a high-volume workload and meet tight deadlines.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build effective working relationships.
