Treasury & Accounts Payable Analyst - VR/31801

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Treasury & Accounts Payable Analyst to join a busy finance function on an 8-month contract. This role offers exposure to both AP and Treasury activities, working within an E&P organisation during a period of high activity and system development.

   

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinating weekly payment runs across multiple currencies, including expenses
  • Approving the release of daily payments
  • Posting credit card journals
  • Providing ad hoc support and cover across the AP team, including invoice processing, supplier queries, and supplier statement reconciliations
  • Approving new supplier setups and supplier amendments
  • Supporting implementation project as required
  • Preparing monthly cashbooks
  • Completing month-end treasury accruals and reconciliations
  • Producing treasury reporting, including:
    • Aged creditors
    • “No PO, No Payment” reporting
    • Payment statistics
    • Actuals vs forecast reviews
    • Monthly treasury one-pager summaries
  • Supporting process improvement initiatives across the AP and Treasury function
  • Assisting the wider finance team with ad hoc tasks as required

      

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in Accounts Payable and/or Treasury within a fast-paced finance environment
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work to deadlines and manage competing priorities
  • Confident communicator, comfortable working with multiple stakeholders
  • Proactive, adaptable, and eager to support ongoing improvements
