Goan Goddess Completes Cycle Challenge

Joined by friends and fellow supporters of Charlie House, Karen Molloy has just completed her latest fundraising challenge for the charity's Big Build Appeal. Our resident adrenaline junkie cycled 400km in 40+ degrees from Mumbai to Goa in 5 days.

Enjoying the culture and vibrancy of the trip, Karen says "India is a truly beautiful country and the whole experience was just amazing. The people are so warm and welcoming."

"The route was much hillier than I expected, over the 5 days we cycled the height of Mount Kilimanjaro. We also had to contend with cows, monkeys, tuktuks, potholes, dogs, the odd pig and red buses. It's fair to say that by the end of the challenge I was ready for a Kingfisher beer (or two)."
