Edel Harris Is Making A Difference In The Third Sector

Edel Harris is the CEO of one of the largest social care providers in the UK, Mencap. During her first 100 days in post, the charity found itself at the sharp end of the Corona virus crisis: ensuring PPE for colleagues, hiring 500 new team members and shaping government policy.
In the fourth of our interviews with female leaders Edel explains her passion for changing the system and making the UK the best place to live if you have a learning disability but this interview is rammed with great advice and insight, there's also the best career advice she received; her thoughts on leadership and the exciting strategy at Mencap which is inspiring colleagues as they look to the future.
